1. What is PackDraw?
PackDraw is an online mystery box site. You pay a set price to open a digital "pack," and each pack awards one item from a published pool of prizes — things like sneakers, electronics, watches, collectibles, and other real-world products. When you win an item you can keep it, have it shipped to you, or sell it back to the platform for crypto.
A few things a new player should understand before joining:
- The prizes are real. Physical items ship out, and item value can be cashed back to cryptocurrency.
- It runs on crypto. You add funds and cash out in crypto — there is no fiat, bank, or PayPal option.
- It is provably fair. Each pack result is committed in advance with a hashed server seed, your client seed, and a nonce, so you can verify afterward that the outcome was not changed. More on this below.
- It is negative expected value. This is the honest part: like any mystery box or casino product, every mode is designed so the house has an edge. Most players lose money over time. Treat it as paid entertainment, not a way to make money.
PackDraw is 18+ only. It is a registered business (Cyprus entity PACKDRAW LIMITED, reg. HE 445177, plus a Delaware LLC) but it is not gambling-licensed. If you want the deeper trust breakdown, read our is PackDraw legit analysis.
2. How to sign up
Creating an account is quick and free — no deposit is needed just to sign up. You have two options:
- Google: click sign up and continue with your Google account.
- Email + password: register with an email address and a password you choose.
That's it — there is no Steam login on PackDraw, so don't go looking for one. You must be at least 18 years old to register and play. Once your account exists, you can look around and even claim free level packs (see section 6) before deciding whether to add any money.
3. How to add funds & claim your bonus
Deposits on PackDraw are crypto only. You fund your balance by sending cryptocurrency to the deposit address shown in your account. Here's the part beginners most often get wrong, so read it carefully:
To get your 5% deposit bonus, you must type the code dijaboy into the promo / referral field before you make a crypto deposit. It is not automatic — clicking a link alone does not apply it, and it is not a free pack. Enter the code, then deposit, and you get 5% extra on that deposit. The 5% applies on every deposit you make with the code active.
So the flow is simple: open the deposit / code screen, enter dijaboy in the referral field, confirm it, then send your crypto. For a step-by-step with screenshots of exactly where the field lives, see our PackDraw promo code guide.
4. The game modes explained
PackDraw has four ways to play. As a beginner, single Packs and Deals are the easiest to understand; Battles and Draw are more of an adrenaline experience.
Want to know which mode stretches your budget furthest and how to reduce variance? Our full PackDraw strategy guide breaks down each mode's math and gives a beginner-safe game plan.
5. Is it fair?
PackDraw uses a provably fair system. Before you open, the outcome is locked in using a hashed server seed combined with your client seed and a nonce. After the open, the server seed is revealed so you can check that the result matched the commitment and wasn't altered. Multiplayer Battles go further and anchor their outcome to a future EOS blockchain block, so nobody — not even the site — can predict or tamper with the result in advance.
The honest caveat: the fairness engine is self-hosted and not independently audited, and PackDraw is not gambling-licensed. "Provably fair" proves a specific draw wasn't rigged after the fact — it does not change the built-in house edge. For the full fairness and safety write-up, see is PackDraw legit.
6. Free packs for beginners
Let's clear up the biggest beginner myth: there is no free pack just for signing up, no welcome pack, and the code does not give you a free pack. The dijaboy code is a 5% deposit bonus only.
The genuinely free packs are level packs. Here's how they work:
- You unlock a free pack at Level 2, then at Levels 10, 20, 30 and so on, at each milestone up to Level 100.
- Once a level pack is unlocked, you can open it once per day from the Rewards page.
- You level up by playing and earning XP — there's no shortcut and no deposit that unlocks them directly.
So the free content compounds the more you play, but it is gated behind levels rather than handed out at signup. Our PackDraw free cases page covers exactly what's free and how to claim it.
7. What are the odds? (PackDraw RTP)
PackDraw shows the drop odds for each item inside a pack, so you can always see your chance at a given prize before opening. What it does not publish is a single official "RTP" (return to player) number for the whole platform.
Third-party estimates from community trackers and reviewers generally put the effective return well below the amount wagered — in other words, a meaningful house edge on typical packs. Treat any RTP figure you see as an estimate, not an official number. The one thing that is certain: every mode is negative expected value, so over enough opens the math favors the house and most players lose.
The best habit before opening anything is to run the numbers yourself. Our PackDraw EV calculator lets you plug in a pack's price and item odds to see its estimated expected value, so you know what you're really paying for.
8. Start playing in 4 steps
Here's the whole thing distilled into a beginner checklist:
- Sign up with Google or email + password (18+). No deposit needed to create the account.
- Enter the code. Type dijaboy in the promo / referral field before depositing to lock in your 5% deposit bonus.
- Add crypto and set a budget you're 100% okay losing — remember every mode is negative EV.
- Play smart. Start with single Packs or low-multiplier Deals, claim your level packs daily from Rewards, and check odds before every open.

How do you play PackDraw?
You create a free account with Google or with an email and password (you must be 18+), make a crypto deposit, then open a mystery pack. Each pack costs a set price and awards one item from a published pool of prizes. You can keep an item, have it shipped, or sell it back for crypto. Beyond single packs there are Battles (player-vs-player pack races), Deals (spin or upgrade toward one specific item), and Draw (a card-flip multiplier survival mini-game). Every mode is negative expected value, so treat it as paid entertainment with a set budget.
How do I sign up for PackDraw?
Go to PackDraw and create an account using your Google account or an email address and password. There is no Steam login. You must be at least 18 years old. Signing up is free and no deposit is required to create the account. If you plan to deposit, type the referral code dijaboy into the promo or referral field before your first crypto deposit to get a 5% bonus.
Do you need crypto to play PackDraw?
To deposit real funds, yes. PackDraw deposits and withdrawals are crypto only, so you fund your balance by sending cryptocurrency and you cash out winnings back to crypto. There is no fiat, bank, or PayPal option. You can still create an account and open the free level packs you unlock without ever depositing, but adding your own money requires crypto.
Is there a free pack for signing up to PackDraw?
No. There is no signup or welcome free pack, and the referral code does not give a free pack. The only genuinely free packs come from level milestones. You unlock a free pack at Level 2, then again at Levels 10, 20, 30 and so on up to Level 100. Once a level pack is unlocked you can open it once per day from the Rewards page. You level up by playing and earning XP.
What is the best mode to play on PackDraw?
For value, Deals tends to be the strongest mode, especially when the multiplier is under 2x, because you are spinning toward one item you actually want at close to its retail price. Battles and single Packs are higher variance and swing harder. No mode beats the house edge over time since every mode is negative expected value, but low-multiplier Deals give you the most control over what you are paying for.
