No strategy eliminates the house edge on PackDraw. These tips minimize your losses and maximize your chance of a big win — but over a large enough sample, the platform always profits. Only play with money you're comfortable losing entirely.

The 6 rules of playing smart
Always use a referral code
Use code dijaboy when signing up to get 5% added to every deposit. On a $200 deposit that's $10 free — applied automatically, every time. This is the easiest free equity available and takes 5 seconds to claim.
Claim all free packs first
Before spending a dollar, go to the Rewards page and claim every free pack available at your level. Daily packs, level-up packs, and event packs are all free equity with zero house edge. Always exhaust these before depositing more.
Use Deals mode for specific items
If you want a specific item, the Deals spin is almost always better than opening mystery packs hoping for it. Target multipliers under 2x — anything over 3x isn't worth it. A 1.5x spin on a $10,000 watch means you're paying $15,000 for a 50% chance — still negative EV, but far better than a mystery pack.
Join bot-heavy battles
Battles where human players are outnumbered by bots are effectively subsidized prize pools. Bots don't play optimally — they just fill slots. Create a battle yourself with cheap packs and let bots fill empty spots for a better-than-average expected outcome.
Set a hard session budget
Decide your session budget before you start and treat it as entirely spent the moment you deposit. If you win — great, cash out. If you lose — you planned for it. Never chase losses by depositing more. The house edge compounds against you every open.
Sell wins, don't claim
Unless you genuinely want the physical item, sell your wins back for balance and redeploy into better-EV plays. The sell-back value is usually 80–95% of item value — much better than taking the physical item and waiting weeks for shipping.
What doesn't work
Timing your opens: The outcome of every pack open is determined before you click — by EOS blockchain randomness. There's no "hot streak" timing or pattern to exploit. Every open is independent.
Changing your client seed: While you can change your client seed before opening, this just "reshuffles" your future sequence — it doesn't let you see or predict upcoming outcomes.
Martingale / doubling up: Increasing bet size after losses increases variance but doesn't change expected value. You'll just lose more money faster.
